When I got my first data slicer working and saw Trunker running on my screen, decoding and displaying all the system activity at the same time, I was blown away.  A scanner looks for activity one talkgroup at a time, but Trunker shows you everything at once.  It was like having the blinders taken from my eyes.  I could see everything my scanner was missing while it was on another channel or system.  I quickly found a few people in my area to share Trunker files and we still share our collective system information.

I received many requests to build data slicers for people who did not have the skill or time to do it themselves.  I sat down and designed what I consider to be the most functional, cost effective, data slicer available.  If you shop around (MFJ, Texas 2-way), you'll find that no one sells data slicers with serial pass-through like mine and no one beats my price/features.

The serial pass through feature has been modified several times since I first started building data slicers.  I had to make modifications to stop my Icom PCR1000 from going dormant and had to provide extra signal lines for my BC245XLT serial cable's built in level converter.

Each data slicer is tested twice before shipping, once before final assembly and once just before it is packaged and shipped.

I usually ship the same day that payment is received, or the next day if payment notification arrives too late.
